	REM Gallery is always interested in meeting new talent and viewing their work.  That said, you should be aware that we are always booked two years in advance (thus any new artist exhibit will be scheduled two years from the present at the minimum).  Occasionally due to unforeseen circumstances, a spot may open up during this time but we always give scheduling preference to existing REM Gallery artists.
	If you are represented by another San Antonio gallery and are thinking about showing with us, before anything else, we require written permission to do so from your current gallery.  Even with permission, you cannot have had a show in the past six months (prefferably a year) at any San Antonio gallery.  In addition, we prefer non-exhibited new work only.
	If you really would like us to review your work and you are not represented and are unknown (to us), please bring a representative portfolio of your work during our regular business hours (Fridays and Saturdays, noon to six).  Do not mail your portfolio!  Bring it in person but do not approach us during an opening or mid-reception.  You may bring a CD/DVD (jpg image format only!) but do not present your work on a mobile phone or other small-screen device.  Finally, make sure you include an updated CV.
	Special Note 1: REM Gallery does not commonly purchase art.  Should we purchase a piece, it will always be from the current exhibit (only!) and only after the exhibt closes.  Please do not ask.
	Special Note 2: REM Gallery does not appraise art.  If you have a piece which you wish to have appraised, we recommend that you please contact either the McNay Museum of Art or the San Antonio Museum of Art (SAMA).
