As of November 1, 2007, REM Gallery has relocated to a new, larger space.

In short, the new gallery has about twice the wall real estate and nearly three times the floor space of the old gallery.  Here are some specifics:

Old Gallery9'55'500 sqft250 sqft
New Gallery12'85'1,000 sqft725 sqft

The gallery is a rectangle 33 feet long and 22 feet wide.  The entrance on the North wall is in the North West corner.  The opposite wall (actually, two walls as explained below) contains a pocket door which leads to the loft.  A double-width warehouse window is centered on the West Wall:

The North, West, and East walls are original construction; the South walls are new, designed and built specifically for REM Gallery to close off the gallery from the loft/living space.  However, these are not simply large fixed partition walls; both walls are mounted on casters (anchored to supporting columns) and may be opened or closed to reconfigure the space as desired.
